Furuya Metal is able to issue calibration certificates bearing the JCSS mark for type-R thermocouple calibration as an accredited calibration body compliant with the certification criteria of Article 143 of the Measurement Law and the ISO/IEC17025 International Standard.

Furuya Metal uses ISO/IEC17025 as the certification criteria and is accredited under the JCSSJ which operates in accordance with ISO/IEC17011. The certifying body which operates JCSS (IAJapan) is a signatory to mutual recognition arrangements with the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Conference (ILAC).

Advantages of JCSS Calibration Certificate

The JCSS logo mark can be applied to the calibration certificate in the case of JCSS calibration.
While this is undoubtedly evidence of a highly reliable calibration test, it also serves as proof of traceability for a specified standard device (national standard).
Moreover, it will also be accepted overseas through mutual recognition agreements (MRA).
