Water electrolysis catalysts are used to produce green hydrogen through water electrolysis. Iridium oxide (IrO₂) is widely used as the standard catalyst for PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) water electrolysis. To effectively utilize scarce iridium resources, Furuya Metal develops and manufactures highly efficient iridium catalysts for water electrolysis.

FIO-01(IrO₂)

FIO-01 is an iridium oxide (IrO₂) catalyst developed for water electrolysis with fine particle size and a large specific surface area.

IrRuOx(A)

IrRuOₓ (A) is an IrRu composite oxide catalyst in which part of the iridium in iridium oxide (IrO₂) is replaced with ruthenium. By reducing iridium content, the catalyst enables effective utilization of scarce iridium resources while contributing to cost reduction.
