Thermocouple Products JCSS Calibration Services
As an accredited calibration service provider that complies with the requirements of Article 143 of Japan’s Measurement Act and the international standard ISO/IEC 17025, Furuya Metal is authorized to issue calibration certificates bearing the JCSS (Japan Calibration Service System) mark for the calibration of Type R thermocouples.
Furuya Metal is accredited under the Japan Calibration Service System (JCSS), which adopts ISO/IEC 17025 as its accreditation standard and operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17011. IAJapan, the accreditation body responsible for administering JCSS, is a signatory to the mutual recognition arrangements of the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

Benefits of JCSS Calibration Certificates
When JCSS calibration is performed, a calibration certificate bearing the JCSS accreditation symbol can be issued. This certificate demonstrates that a reliable calibration has been performed and that traceability to specified reference standards (national measurement standards) has been established.
In addition, calibration certificates issued by JCSS-accredited calibration service providers operating under the international Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) are accepted internationally through the framework of mutual recognition.
