Furuya Metal has been selected as one of "Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
We are pleased to announce that Furuya Metal has been selected as one of "Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100 (one of top 20 companies, Materials and Chemistry Sector)" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and President Furuya attended the commendation ceremony with the pleasure of Minister Motegi's company on March 17th, 2014.
"Global Niche Top Companies Selection 100" (GNT100) is a new program established by METI based on the "Japan Revitalization Strategy" approved by the Cabinet in June 2013, and METI has selected 100 companies that secure high market share in niche sectors and carry out healthy management, out of companies that strive to capture global markets. The selected companies are entitled to receive the specific and supportive measures by the Government.
Furuya Metal applied to the program as a candidate and has been selected as one of GNT100 enterprises as the only industrial precious metal product manufacturer, deliberated by the selection and appraisal committee.
Furuya Metal was regarded with high esteem by integrated and consecutive activities from raw material refining and industrial product manufacturing through recycling and recovery of Precious Group Metals (especially Iridium and Ruthenium).
We look forward to continued understanding and support of all the stakeholders, and we would like to make our best endeavors to be a world leading Iridium and Ruthenium manufacturers being true to the commendation.
