Notice Concerning Acquisition of Business Land
Furuya Metal Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo, President: Takahito Furuya, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is pleased to announce that it has concluded the following land purchase contract today.
The project site is located in the Chitose Distribution Business Complex, which is developed by Chitose City, and is directly connected to New Chitose Airport via the Hinode Lamp and Kotobuki Ramp on the DO-O BY-PASS . It is located in a well-located industrial
park with 5 minutes’ drive from New Chitose Airport.
Chitose City has one of the best industrial parks in Hokkaido, with convenient transportation access through an air, land, and sea" network such airports, expressways, and ports and has a well-developed industrial infrastructure.
Since 2010, the Company have manufactured and processed quartz products mainly used in temperature sensors for semiconductor manufacturing equipment at the Chitose Plant in the Chitose Rinkuu Industrial Park. Through the acquisition of the land for this project, the Company will increase the production of components for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and strengthen our supply capacity to the semiconductor supply chain in Japan. As the only manufacturer of both precious metal products and quartz products, the Company will aim for sustainable growth.
